What Our Clients Say
I have a very busy lifestyle that requires a lot of plan B’s and a lot of flexibility. Alexia opened my eyes to the fact that there are tools that you can have that when life gets crazy you can still make good choices. She also taught me not to get down on myself when you do kind of fall off the wagon for a day or two. That it’s okay, it’s normal, and you just pick right back up and a lot of times you don’t lose any groundwork at all– Tracey W.
It was great to not have the standard nutrition jargon all the time. I liked trying a different approach and modifying or adjusting what I do instead of completely changing and being so strict.
I am 47 years old and I have found over the last several years I have steadily been gaining weight no matter what I’ve tried – exercise, watching what I’m eating – nothing seemed to work for me.Renee C.
Alexia was very good; her approach was teaching you to get your mind right and if you lapse to recognize that and not have a relapse. And just to find little changes you can make in your everyday meals and to be consistent.
I’ve consciously have thought back to the coursework and the material that I’ve learned and it’s made a difference in my everyday habits.
What I learned… was how to change my, not eating, but living for a better life. There’s no such thing as an easy fix with weight loss. The pills, the diet, they all come back but this is something that you learn that you carry for the rest of your life to not only lose weight but live a better and happier life.Tevy D.
I learned a lot about cooking more healthy for my family. I’ve always been a cook but never focused on healthy things. I learned more about how important it is to eat healthy, I learned how to cook healthy, and I learned how to read food labels. I think my favorite class was the food label class because you really learned what everything means, I thought I knew what it meant and I didn’t so that really taught me a lot.Jen M.
Alexia has been my health coach for several months now. During that time, she has helped me change my thinking and behavior regarding food with the result that I have lost 17 pounds in the past 4 months.
Her sound counsel and gentle nature have helped me to gradually incorporate small changes into my life that make a big difference in my health. I truly appreciate her professionalism, compassion, and patience.
Her support has empowered me to make a multitude of changes in my life toward health and happiness. I am so happy and grateful for her wisdom, guidance, and unwavering support!D.N.; Florida
I was diagnosed with Diabetes and was truly not interested in having someone tell me that “You can’t eat this or that anymore”! After the very first session, I could hear that she was not telling me what I couldn’t eat, but that she was giving me advice on how to choose differently.
Surprisingly, she has never once made me feel bad when I deviate from my plan, nor has she ever told me I can’t have a food item, but instead, she offers me alternatives to the foods I want to eat so that my choices are better suited for my health concerns.
As a direct result of her coaching, I have lost 19.5 pounds over two months and we have been working together to promote a healthy lifestyle. Because of her great advice, enthusiasm and passion for helping others, I feel beautiful, healthy and full of energy (which I have not felt in over seven years). I am convinced that I will continue to accomplish much more with her as my health coach!– B.L.; Florida
Alexia is open, approachable, honest, and supportive. I have enjoyed learning from her, and feel confident that she is promoting life-long changes instead of just a quick fix. While I would prefer to drop pounds quickly, I’m learning ways to live in a healthy manner, and have noticed changes in my sleep, my mood and my weight which I didn’t get from doing this without support.– K.U.; Florida
What I liked most about the Love Yourself Healthy Group was the different approach taken. Knowing that it’s not the end of the world if you eat something unhealthy. One meal or snack does not effect your overall health.– Anonymous Survey Response
