Get excited! This challenge is all about YOU taking five days to focus on your needs for your health, your weight goals, and your self-care! Make tomorrow your last “Day 1” by changing your approach and starting to Love Yourself Healthy.
When you start with love, acceptance, and a non-judgmental place… when there are no more “I messed up” days… when you shift your thinking and realize that every small change is a huge victory… when you learn to reframe every missed goal as chance to learn and make a better plan… when you start to love yourself towards health instead of hating yourself there… THAT is when you will transform and find that improving your health is so much easier – and maybe even just a little bit fun!
About the Challenge
You won’t have too much to do each day of the challenge, but it will take a little bit of time and effort each day to really get the most out of the daily challenges. If you miss a day or two, that’s okay; just catch up when you can. The group will still be here.
What to Expect
The challenge will start Monday and go through Friday.
Every morning by 8:00 EST, you will receive an email. The email will contain
- Information about the daily topic
- A link to a short video and worksheet to guide you through thinking about how the topic comes into play in your life
- A simple Daily Challenge task for the day
You can talk to your coach every evening at 7:00 EST through Facebook Live in the Facebook group. We can talk about the challenge, you can ask questions, and we can all check in with each other. These lives will be 5-10 minutes at the minimum (if no one asks questions) and could be up to 15-20 minutes to be sure to address all questions and concerns.
Every day the coach will start a Daily Challenge Check In post in the group giving you a place to share what you would like to about the daily challenge task. Each challenge task will have a prompt to encourage you to post in the group. Look for a picture similar to this one:
If you need additional questions or have something to contribute that is not part of the Daily Challenge task, then post away and ask!
We are all here to support each other so please post and comment on other’s posts when they reach out to the group… or at least give them a “like” so they know we are listening and here for them!
Oh – did I mention prizes?
Oh yeah! Three people will win prizes at the end of the challenge!
I will put a ticket into a bowl (1) for every post you make and (2) for every comment you make on someone else’s post on the Daily Challenge Check In posts! The more you comment and respond on the Daily Challenge Check In posts, the bigger your chances to win!
At the end of the week, there will be a drawing for prizes! Only one prize will be given per person. The first person will get their choice of prize from the list (which will be posted when drawing is done). Then the second person whose name is drawn will get to choose their prize from the remaining prizes. So on until three people have won a prize!
For now, be sure to join the Facebook Challenge Group and introduce yourself if you haven’t already. That’s where the party will be – look forward to getting your Day 1 email tomorrow!
